How Plan Locking Works (Reminder)
When a plan is committed:
The Plan Setup page becomes locked.
Users can no longer modify the core “shell” information, such as Signature, Division, Vendor...
Only a limited set of updates is allowed:
Add a media type
Modify the plan name
Change the end date
Update the Campaign description
However, even for these allowed changes, users have to:
Contact the Camphouse team via the “Need Help” button.
Request the plan to be unlocked before making updates.
What’s Changed
Planners now have more flexibility when working with plan dates, without needing to unlock the plan.
You can add media entries with an end date beyond the global plan end date defined during plan creation.
If a media entry includes dates outside the plan’s overall date range:
The impacted cell will appear highlighted in red.
Data will still save successfully.
The plan can still be submitted for approval.
What This Means for You
No need to request an unlock when your update relates to end date adjustments.
You can continue planning with greater flexibility, even if timelines evolve.
Visual indicators (red cells) ensure you stay aware of date 'inconsistencies' without blocking your progress.
